Privacy & anonymous demand insights
Searches and browsing work whether you accept or decline optional demand logging.
What we record with your consent
A random browser identifier independent of your account, search entry path, requirement categories, language, optional company-size/region/industry choices, coarse country, recommended software and fit scores, and software-page interactions. We do not store emails, personal names, telephone numbers, URLs, IP addresses or user agents in these demand records.
Searches and documents
Never include personal details. Requirements are processed by our AI service to produce results. Demand storage retains only a requirement summary assembled from fixed software terms, not your original words or uploaded document text. Unverified external suggestion names are omitted rather than risking personal-data storage. Uploaded files are read in your browser; extracted content is sent for matching, not retained in demand records.
How insights are used
We use demand data to understand which software buyers need and to improve matching. Aggregated, anonymised trends (for example, which categories buyers search most) may be shared as market insights — never individual searches, never anything that identifies you. Small groups are excluded from aggregate counts. A random identifier is pseudonymous rather than a guarantee that re-identification is impossible.
Your choice
Acceptance saves a random identifier in this browser. Declining or withdrawing stops new demand-event writes and removes that identifier here. It does not erase records previously submitted. Only authorised administrators can read demand records. Owner and test traffic is excluded from aggregate counts.
Account registration and vendor contact are separate services with their existing information requirements. This logging does not add email collection or follow-up emails. This notice covers the optional demand records, not a claim that hosting or AI providers never process request data.
